The Powering Switch is used in combination with an Audio Powering Switch to supply extra power to the DCN multimedia network.
The built in Ethernet switch connects all devices in the system
together into a network and supports loop through connection, which makes it
possible to connect the multimedia device to another multimedia device and even
the last multimedia device in the loop can be connected to the (audio) powering
switch to create cable redundancy. The powering switch has no user controls and
can be fully remotely controlled.
